Do My Titles Sound Familiar?
Titles
All of my pieces are named after the title of a song. It may be what I am listening to at the time, or what comes to mind when the piece is finished. More likely, what I want you to think I am listening to! I try to evoke the spirit of the individual piece through the song. Sometimes, the relationship is obvious but, other times it takes a bit more imagination and humor. You decide.
“What Should I Hang Here?”

Do you have a certain spot in your home that you want to purchase a piece of artwork for, but just can’t find the right one? When you actually find something, is it the wrong size, the wrong colors, or even the wrong price?
Let me help you solve this problem and together we can create a one-of-a-kind piece of art that is just what you want.
How does it work? - First, we get to know each other. Art is personal and I want to create a piece that suits you. We meet in your home so that you can show me the location and I can get an idea of your style, furnishings, and expectations. We decide on a general idea and dimension of your artwork. It is also helpful if you gather ideas from magazines or print samples from the Internet if you have a certain style or subject. I’ll bring along my portfolio so you can get ideas from past projects.
What happens next? – I come up with a rough draft of your piece using oil pastels and we meet again at your home to see how it looks. We discuss any changes that need to be made and the real painting begins!
How much does it cost? – There are options for every budget, but prices generally range from $75 for an 8” x 10” to $800 for a 60” x 60”. Final prices will depend on the scope and complexity of your project.
How long does it take? – It takes about two weeks from our initial meeting to present the rough draft. Time to completion of your painting will depend on the nature of the project. I will do my best to finish a piece in a reasonable amount of time or for a special occasion.
